Arch was founded by Philipp Krinner and Sacha Schmitz, combining their experiences from large scale solar installation and best in class software development.

Why we do it
According to the eia, the residential sector is responsible for 20% of all US carbon emissions. Heating and cooling takes up 51% of all energy consumption in residential homes. HVAC, is one of the biggest levers we have in the built environment to have massive impact on slowing and stopping climate change. We are determined to accelerate the adoption of heat pumps and climate technologies.

Arch was founded to make every home in the US sustainable. Based on Philipp's research at Stanford University, the team determined to change the way the HVAC industry is operating. Philipp is a climate tech native, and built the largest solar power plants around the world.

Sacha is a serial entrepreneur who founded multiple vertical SaaS businesses that helped companies to become more efficient and transparent.
